The draft pane form stretches to the full width of the pane it replaces. On a 4K display every input is absurdly wide and the form is hard to scan — a text input several thousand pixels across gives no sense of how much to type, and the label/field pairs drift far apart.

Give the form a max width and centre it in the pane. The pane itself keeps filling the space; only the form content is bounded.

Pick the bound from the existing type scale rather than inventing a number, and check it at both extremes: a narrow split pane must not gain horizontal scrolling, and a full-width 4K pane must not stretch.

Non-goals: no change to the form's field order or contents.
