Enter does not reliably submit the draft form. It should, from any field, at any point: submit whatever is currently visible, using the defaults for everything not filled in.

That is the whole point of the draft pane — the common case is picking a project and pressing Enter. Having to reach for the Spawn button, or tab to it, undoes that.

Two things to get right:

  • Enter inside the project filter should submit with the highlighted project, not just accept the filter text.
  • Enter must still not submit while a picker is mid-selection where Enter means "choose this entry" — in that case it chooses, and the next Enter submits.

Same behaviour in the TUI draft pane.

Non-goals: no change to what the defaults are, only to how few keystrokes it takes to accept them.
