Depends on: #117

apply_auto_track currently marks season 0 tracked and its episodes wanted,
with a test asserting it, and derive_series_status counts season 0 episodes
like any other. Together those pin a series with a populated specials list at
incomplete forever and stop it ever reaching ended. See DESIGN.md §4.1 and
§4.2 as amended by #117.

  • apply_auto_track skips season 0. A season 0 that the operator tracks by hand
    keeps working as before.
  • derive_series_status ignores season 0 episodes. Today it takes &[Episode]
    and an Episode carries only season_id, so it cannot tell — extend the
    input so the function decides rather than trusting every caller to filter
    first. A caller that forgets is the failure this is meant to prevent.
    Replace the season_zero_follows_the_same_rule test with its inverse. Cover a
    series whose only missing wanted episodes are specials: it reads complete, and
    ended when upstream finished.
