Per the amended §9.6, the cast list and cast photos come off title detail. The
section is noise on a page whose job is deciding what to grab.

What to change

Remove the cast surface from both the SPA and the API.

  • web/index.html — the #movie-cast and #series-cast sections with their
    #rows-cast and #rows-series-cast lists.
  • web/src/main.ts — castItem, the cast painting in the movie and series
metadata painters, and the cast fields on the mirrors in web/src/movie.ts
    and web/src/series.ts.
  • web/src/style.css — every .cast-* rule, including the responsive ones.
  • crates/arr-api/src/metadata.rs — the cast field on both metadata
responses, its schema type, and the assertions covering it.

Everything else on the page stays: poster, backdrop, rating, runtime, genres,
tagline, overview, the TMDB / TVDB / Rotten Tomatoes links and the trailer chip.

Done looks like

  • Neither metadata endpoint returns a cast field, and the OpenAPI document
    reflects that.
  • Neither detail page renders a cast section, and no dead CSS or dead TypeScript
    is left behind.
  • The rest of both detail pages is visually unchanged.

Non-goals

  • crates/arr-meta keeps its CastMember type and keeps requesting credits
in append_to_response. The TMDB call is unchanged; only what arr exposes
changes. Trimming the append list is separate and not worth the churn.
